The opening ceremony took place in Zakharievych Hall and brought together program participants, instructors, and representatives of the academic community.

The new educational programs are designed to provide veterans with modern technical skills and practical tools for entering the IT and technology sectors. Participants in the Automated Software Testing program will study software quality assurance methods and automation tools. Meanwhile, the Military Tech C++ program focuses on programming, systems logic, and technologies used in the development of engineering and defense solutions.

Welcoming remarks were delivered by the head of the public organization, Oleksii Druhov, Vice-Rector Mykola Lohoida, and lecturers from Lviv Polytechnic National University, including Professor Nataliia Chukhrai, Deputy Director of the Lviv Center for Providing Services to Combat Participants Yuliia Hordiichuk, as well as the Academy for Heroes team. They emphasized the importance of practical education and supporting veterans throughout their professional transformation.

For the Academy for Heroes, the launch of these new educational programs marks a continuation of expanding educational opportunities for veterans, helping them gain relevant technical skills, grow professionally, and find their place in the IT industry.
