The NGO “Academy for Heroes,” in partnership with the YPO “Institute for Social Initiatives,” has launched a series of training sessions as part of the “Veteran Resource Hub IT Academy” project.
This initiative was developed for veterans, military personnel, and combatants who are currently undergoing rehabilitation at UNBROKEN. It is being implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Veterans Fund under the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
The program includes three key modules:
– fundamentals of IT;
– types of IT;
– IT professions.
During the first session, conducted by our IT-teacher Volodymyr, we explored various professions in the IT sector – where to begin, what roles exist, how they differ, and what career paths one can pursue.
Interestingly, the group was also joined by two foreign participants who are undergoing rehabilitation at UNBROKEN as well. This once again proves that technology is a universal language that brings people together.
May everyone currently on the path to recovery soon find their own grounding – and perhaps even discover a new career in the IT field in the near future.
