The event was opened by Oleksii Druhov, who welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of developing entrepreneurial competencies among veterans. He noted that owning a business can become not only a source of income but also a tool for self-realization and a confident return to civilian life.

A representative of the Red Cross Society, Olena, also joined the event. She supported the course participants, wished them success in their studies and the implementation of their business ideas, and highlighted the importance of educational initiatives that help veterans adapt and develop new professional skills.

A Practical Approach to Starting Your Own Business

The “Micro-Entrepreneurship” course focuses on practical training and covers the key aspects of running a small business:

  • planning and development strategy;

  • financial literacy and budgeting;

  • fundamentals of marketing and promotion;

  • organization and management of your own business.

Special attention is given to working with real cases and developing the participants’ own business ideas.
