The event was organized by the public organization “Academy for Heroes,” which introduced educational programs aimed at retraining veterans and helping them adapt to civilian life.
IT Training Programs for Veterans
Alexey Drugov, the head of the Academy, spoke about the importance of veterans’ professional development and presented modern IT programs that will help them acquire in-demand skills. “When seeking employment in the IT field, being a veteran won’t be a problem but rather an advantage, as IT companies are eager to hire professionals with military experience,” noted Alexey Drugov.
IT Education During Rehabilitation
Academy instructor Volodymyr Pankiv provided a detailed explanation of the training areas that will be available to veterans during their rehabilitation at the UNBROKEN center. These programs are designed not only to help veterans gain new knowledge but also to aid their successful reintegration into society after the war.
IT Professionals’ Experience
Representatives from the IT industry also spoke at the presentation. Andriy Kovalchuk, head of the technical department at “EveryMatrix Ukraine,” and war veteran Kyrylo Malyushchenko, an experienced IT professional, shared their work experiences and emphasized that veterans have excellent opportunities to build successful careers in IT.
The first classes for veterans at the UNBROKEN center will begin next week. This project is a vital part of the rehabilitation and support process, guiding veterans toward new professional achievements.
