Collaboration for Veteran Support: A Meeting at the National Rehabilitation Center Unbroken

At the meeting, they discussed the progress of the IT training project for veterans recovering from amputations and undergoing the prosthetics process at the Unbroken rehabilitation center.

They also discussed the role of Lviv Polytechnic National University in the development of IT projects for Unbroken, particularly the involvement of students and faculty in joint research and educational programs. Representatives of the center spoke about the upcoming project University of the Unbroken, which is planned to be launched in Lviv.

Natalia Shakhovska shared the developments of Lviv Polytechnic researchers that could contribute to the rehabilitation of veterans. A decision was made to start work on a joint research laboratory project between Lviv Polytechnic National University and the Unbroken center, aimed at studying rehabilitation issues and providing support to veterans.

An instructor from the Academy for Heroes, Volodymyr Pankiv, conducted a training session for veterans on the topic: «Using Artificial Intelligence to Assist in Solving Veterans’ Problems.» Participants gained practical knowledge that will help them in their further adaptation.
