Help veterans gain the skills they need and find their first job in the IT sector
Every month, hundreds of service members return to civilian life. For many of them, one of the biggest challenges is finding a new profession and a stable income.
IT education opens up the opportunity to gain an in-demand profession and work in Ukrainian and international companies.
It is suitable even for those who have a disability.
Educational IT camps help them discover modern technologies and explore new interests.
They develop creative and digital skills through work on their own projects.

The programs are developed together with IT industry professionals and meet the current requirements of the market.
We take into account the specifics of adaptation after service and provide support throughout the entire learning process.
Our goal is not a diploma, but real employment for every graduate.
We follow the principles of transparency and regularly report to partners on the use of funds

Our graduates are the best proof of the result

“I had not planned to connect my future with IT, but thanks to my brother, I became interested in this field and started studying in a three-month Python course. Together with my brother, we are studying in the Data Engineering course at Academy for Heroes, where we are gaining modern technical knowledge and practical skills. We are sincerely grateful for the support, new opportunities, and help with professional development and adaptation to civilian life.”
Every contribution helps veterans gain a new profession, find a job, and confidently build their future after service

Project name and purpose: “Academy for Heroes” is a non-governmental organization that carries out the systematic reintegration of veterans into public life through IT education, employment support, and the development of a “veteran for veteran” mutual support community.
Required amount for project implementation: training one group of veterans (15 veterans) for 9 months costs, on average, 1 million hryvnias. However, we will be grateful for every hryvnia, which within a year will help provide our heroes with prestigious jobs in the IT sector.
Estimated implementation period: training lasts 9 months; every year, the Academy enrolls and graduates 7-8 groups of veterans.
Distribution of funds in case the project is not implemented or there is a surplus: the project will be implemented in any case — part of the costs, if there is a shortage, will be covered by the IT company EveryMatrix, the Academy’s main sponsor. If funds are raised beyond the planned expenses (more than needed to train 7-8 groups), they will be used to train additional groups of veterans (then there will be 9-10 groups).
Consent of benefactors: by transferring contributions to “Academy for Heroes”, the benefactor agrees to the use of funds for the implementation of its projects; the donation amount is non-refundable.
